To ensure every guest enjoys the full retreat experience at Finca Colibrí Panama, we require a minimum stay of 2 consecutive nights for reservations.​​​ 

Reservations must be confirmed at least 7 days before check-in (based on the Panama’s local time).

This policy allows us to provide the highest quality of service and ensures guests have enough time to truly relax, immerse themselves in nature, and enjoy the personalized experiences we offer.​

For short stays (less than 28 nights):

Guests will receive a full refund, including taxes (if applicable), if they cancel within 24 hours of booking and the check-in date is at least 7 days away (Panama local time).
For cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in, or after the 24-hour grace period, guests will be charged one night plus 50% of the remaining nights not yet spent.

For longer stays (longer than 28 days):

Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel up to 30 days before check-in.

Pool is open ​from 7am to 10pm​

Guests are required to use the outdoor shower to rinse off sand before entering the house or pool area after visiting the beach.

All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. 

No diving in the pool. Please use the pool responsibly—diving is strictly prohibited.

Avoid wet clothes inside the house. Walking indoors with wet clothing makes the floors extremely slippery and unsafe.​

Our retreat is a sanctuary for rest, not for loud gatherings. Keep music at a respectful volume. No music after 10:00 p.m. Respect quiet time 10:00 PM - 7:00 A.M.

We lovingly welcome children aged 12 and older, an age when they can truly appreciate the magic of the mountains and the beauty of nature. For safety reasons, we are unable to accommodate younger children, as the property includes elevated areas, balconies, and open water features. Families traveling with a dedicated nanny to ensure constant supervision may contact us to request an exception. Thank you for helping us keep Finca Colibrí Panama serene and safe retreat for all.

Children must stay off the balconies. For their safety, children are not allowed on balconies at any time.

We love animals, but for the comfort and safety of all guests, pets cannot be accommodated at the property.

For the comfort of all our guests, smoking is not permitted inside the house. Please enjoy smoking in the designated outdoor area

Please do not place heavy items or stand on the kitchen island. The granite countertop is delicate and may crack under excessive weight.

For the safety of our delicate ecosystem, guests are not allowed to touch or handle plants or animals on the property. Please admire them with respect from a distance so they remain safe and thriving.

At Finca Colibrí Panama, we are nestled in the heart of nature. Occasionally, the public power supply may be interrupted.

A manual generator is available to restore essential electricity (lights, refrigerator, water pump, and basic needs).

Please note: Air conditioning is not supported by the generator.

During an outage, the Host or Co-Host will activate the generator for you. Use electricity sparingly to conserve fuel.

Unplug sensitive electronics until power is stable.

If the power goes out, we invite you to open the windows and sliding doors. Let the natural breeze cool the rooms and enjoy the tranquil sounds of the creek, the songs of tropical birds, and the peaceful rhythm of the retreat.

These moments remind us that disconnection can also be a gift.

We love seeing our guests capture the beauty and serenity of their stay. The soft light over the valley, the reflections on the pool, the gentle visits from hummingbirds — these moments are made to be remembered.

You are welcome to take personal photos and short videos to treasure or share with friends and family. However, for the privacy and comfort of all guests, and to preserve the peaceful atmosphere of our retreat, commercial photography or filming is not permitted without prior written approval.
